Worked with Hornet on this project.
Created textures and shaders for the Chinese/Korean dishes, bottles, and trees.
Generated FX and simulation like dust, flying leaves, debris, and droplets using Houdini/Maya.

FX & Simulation

Dust, Flying Leaves and Debris

Dust is generated using Houdini Pyro FX and export with VDB cache. This method keeps the flexibility of placing and modification.

Houdini POP system was used to simulation the dynamic of flying leaves. And I used material fracture and point velocity DOP to create the shatter branch.

 Python Scripting

Maya Plug-in development: UDIM Randomizer

In order to shade the leaves naturally, I developed a tool in Maya that can randomly assign UV shells to different UDIM maps. This tool allows artists easier to manage the color diversity of foliage or debris.
